Fix the leaks and help the planet
This recording of a webinar explains some simple ways to help keep your church building in good order and how, by doing this, you can also lower your bills and help the environment. Members of the Church Buildings Team and the Diocesan Environment Officer set out what to think about.
Watching this video will help you to understand the simple changes that can be made to a church building and the management of a churchyard to help the environment and lower costs.
By the end of the video, amongst other things, you will understand that a dry building costs less to heat, that getting water away from the building is key to a healthy building and that there are ways to manage a churchyard that will increase the biodiversity.
