A vocational exploration
Reflect with The Revd Lynne Smith, Warden of Lay Ministry in reading her Sermon on Luke 18:9-14, The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector. Its based on a deceptively simple story. Two figures. Two Prayers. One verdict.
At a recent Quiet Day at Edenham Retreat House, The Revd Lynne Smith, Warden of Lay Ministry delivered a sermon on the topic of Vocations.
A vocational exploration
This Sermon is available for everyone exploring God’s call on their life, please read on.
‘Your ministry does not depend upon being “better than” anyone else. Nor does it depend upon diminishing yourself.’
