Lincoln – ‘Assisting in Public Worship’ ALM Module

Apply to take part in the ‘Assisting in Public Worship’ module running this Summer, in Lincoln at The Salt House, Free School Lane, LN2 1EY. This is a course for Authorised Lay Ministers.

This module is a practice module which can be completed after the ALM ‘To Love and Serve the Lord’ Foundation Course.

Christianity Deanery is offering the Assisting in Public Worship course this Spring. The Revd Juliette Wills will be leading the course. ** If you have missed the start, please contact collegeofsthugh@lincoln.anglican.org to find out about the next opportunity.

The Sessions will run on Wednesday 19th August 2026 9:00am – 4:30pm; Monday 24th August 2026 7:00-8-30pm

The city car park is within a five minute walk to the Salthouse. Please bring a packed lunch.

Who is the course for?

What will I need?

When your attendance on the course has been confirmed, you will get access to the Module Handbooks. This will be your core text and will take you through the reading materials, activities, expectations and prayer resources used in the course. You can either read it online, download it you your computer or print it out for paper-based use.

You will also need a bible and a personal reflective notebook or journal to keep your notes all in one place as you go through the course. There is not formal graded assessments, however you will be asked to share your learning with your colleagues and trainers as you go.
